Body of Work

One thing I learned at the e-pub conference (see previous post) or should I say what the authors there confirmed once again is having a body of work. Not just one novel but a collection or at least two.  Readers cans read one novel and if it is good, they will look for others. If you only have one novel up there, readers will be disappointed. I've heard Nora Roberts speak several times. She said she has at least half a dozen novels written and in the queue for publication. Can you say that? Get to writing.
